Today’s lesson is focused on the Illustrations category of the insert menu tab.

This category consists of Picture, clip Art, Shapes, Smart-Art and Chart. Below is the breakdown of illustration sub category.

ILLUSTRATION CATEGORY	FUNCTION
Picture	Lets you insert a picture from a file
Clip Art	Lets you insert a clipart into the document, including drawing, sound, video clip, stock photography to illustrate a specific concept.
Shapes	Lets you insert already made shapes such as rectangle and circle, arrows, lines, flowchart symbols and callout into your document.
Smart Art	Lets you insert a smart art graphic to visually communicate information. Smart graphic ranges from graphical list and process diagram to more complex graphics, such as Venn diagram and organizational chart.
Chart	Lets you insert a chart to illustrate and compare data. Available charts are as follows: bar, pie, line, area, and surface charts.
